about
Sick is the New Sane is about our society and our world and how it has DRASTICALLY changed over time. Things that used to seem so risque, outrageous and maybe even considered sick at one time are now normal. For example, when Elvis started shaking his hips in the 50s people pretty much lost it and it caused such a commotion, now there's websites & TV channels dedicated to stuff like lingerie, porn and even cage fighting.
The things that seemed so scary and like such a threat at one time are basically now the norm, and we've been desensitized to it. Our world has definitely evolved so much over time and I like it. — Klank
lyrics
This world is changing
And it doesn't bother me
So open up your eyes
'Cause it's not hard to see
I always thought I was
the one that was alone
But now I see there's many more
that call this same place home
I find it funny how
it all just seems to change
So welcome to my world
Where sick is the new sane
Sick is the new sane
Sick is the new sane
Sick is the new sane
Desensitized is what
They say that we've become
There is nothing left to
Make you scared and wanna run
I used to see the world
Through eyes of a child
But now since time has passed
My sight is reconciled
Cast no aspersions
For the truth it shall remain
So welcome to my world
Where sick is the new sane
Sick is the new sane
Sick is the new sane
Sick is the new sane

Dark, eclectic, heavy and very inspiring. It is really intense and crazy, so after listening to the half of songs I must take a break and then I can go back and listen to another half ;) selim76219

While I mostly prefer the original tracks and lost projects on offer within this album as the strongest offerings, the remixes provided within this album have excellent production value, and put enjoyable spins on old tracks I've been listening to for a long time. ExodusN
